We guarantee that we do not sell, trade or share our donors’ personal or contact information outside of our organization, nor do we send mailings on behalf of other organizations.
In the course of receiving charitable donations to our organization, Children of God Relief Fund collects donor name, address, telephone number and email address, if provided. This information is maintained in a secure database, along with any giving history, for the purpose of distributing our U.S. quarterly newsletter and other solicitations.
We maintain strict procedural and electronic safeguards to protect the personal information we collect about our donors.
Our online donation system is designed to give you control over the privacy of your credit card information when conducting an online transaction with us. Our security measures are compliant with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) and the Payment Application Data Security Standard (PA-DSS). We offer industry standard security measures available through your browser called SSL (secure socket layer) encryption. When you make a donation through the Nyumbani website with SSL, you will be asked for certain personal and credit card information to process your order. The credit card information is sent electronically to us via SSL encryption to complete the processing of your order. Only the last 4 digits of your account number can be viewed by our employees.
We also use a firewall and password protection safeguards that comply with federal regulations to guard our donors’ non-public personal information. We educate our employees and board members about the importance of donor confidentiality and privacy.
