This Wish List is intended for local donors or individuals traveling to Kenya who can carry donations as part of their luggage. Shipping in-kind donations to Kenya is cost prohibitive and problematic.
If you are traveling to Kenya and visiting the Nyumbani Children’s Home, we would be most grateful for any of the items on the list below, however, the most helpful in-kind donations are clothes and school supplies for the children.
As of May 2011, the total number in the Children’s Home is 111, ranging in age from 1 to 22 years of age. The Lea Toto Community Based Program has 3500 children ranging from months up to 21 years; Nyumbani Village has 730 children and 70 elderly in Kitui.
