On July 11th, actress and UNAIDS Goodwill Ambassador Naomi Watts made a visit to Nyumbani Children’s Home. Watts, accompanied by her two sons Sasha and Kai, toured several facilities in the home, including the state of the art diagnostic laboratory. The aim of her visit was to learn about Kenya’s prevention of mother-to-child transmission of HIV programme and the work done in the home to care for children living with HIV.
The actress praised Nyumbani for the impact it makes in the lives of so many children, later posting a picture on her Instagram account writing, “Wonderful visit today at Nyumbani Children’s Home in Nairobi. It was so inspiring to see how loved and well supported these vulnerable kids are by such an impassioned team.”
Thank you Naomi for your support and for continuing to spread the mission of Nyumbani!
